A Sugar & Champagne Affair to Benefit the Washington Humane Society

On January 23rd Ellen and Todd Gray of Equinox restaurant, will host the 5th annual A Sugar & Champagne Affair at Hotel Palomar. Free-flowing champagne, gourmet treats for humans and their four-legged friends, all to benefit the Washington Humane Society’s Law Enforcement Officers and Humane Education Programs.

The 2006 Sugar & Champagne Affair featured the city’s best pastry chefs from: Equinox, Citronelle, Marcel’s, Market Salamander, Restaurant Eve, Dish Restaurant, TenPenh, Zola, Willow, Cabet Creamery, Vidalia Lebanese Taverna, Galileo, 2941 Restaurant, The Ritz Carlton, IndeBleu, Taberna del Alabardero, and Zaytinya.

This year’s A Sugar & Champagne Affair will also feature a special appearance by photographer Traer Scott and a book signing event for her new highly acclaimed book, Shelter Dogs. All proceeds will benefit the Washington Humane Society.
